¶ Rules
To ensure a fair game, as well as the wellbeing of our players, we employ a simple set of rules to follow.
¶ 1. Don't hack
The Double Dash Modrinth pack comes with quite a few mods for your convenience. However, we understand that you may still want more mods to match your playstyle. Below is a non-inclusive list of what mods are allowed and disallowed.
Allowed Mods/Resource Packs
- Any Ore Highlighter, including those that make ores emit light. This does NOT include X-Ray mods, only mods that change the texture of ores to emit light/have a more noticable texture
- Any 'Zoom' mod
- Replay Mod, or similar alternatives such as Flashback
- Any Fullbright mod/settings
- Any optimization mods
- Any shaders that do not give an unfair advantage
- Just Enough Items or similar mods
Disallowed Mods/Resource Packs
- Any minimap mod[1], as these make finding strongholds and other structures trivial
- Any seed cracker/mod to locate structures
- Any x-ray mod/resource pack
- Any mod/resource pack which is intended to give an unfair advantage that is not listed above

¶ 2. Respect other players
Double Dash is a game played over an open mic, and as such you must take extra care and responsibility to regulate what you say and what comes through your microphone. You are responsible for any communications in Double Dash, including other noises or people talking into your microphone.
We do not tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, or any discrimination of any kind.
Below is an example of someone who was using racial slurs and was corrected by a fellow community member:
¶ 3. Respect the game
Respecting the game means several things, all equally important.
Double Dash isn't perfect, and will have bugs and exploits. You should responsibly report bugs and issues in the Double Dash Discord server as you find them, and not abuse them for an advantage in the game.
When you sign up for a game, you are committing that you will be available on time. We understand that things may come up that prevent you from playing, however you should never sign up for a game if you know that you will not be able to join the game at the time stated. We will wait, at maximum, 15 minutes for all players to join to start a game.
¶ Additional Rules
If your name rhymes with "Booper", you are not permitted to enter a game after anyone who's name rhymes with "Neon"
If your name rhymes with "Merkley", you are NOT allowed to create a "dwelling unit", as defined in 2023 California Code Health and Safety Code - HSC DIVISION 13 PART 6 CHAPTER 2 Section 19970.
¶ Terms
By playing Double Dash!!, you agree to follow all of the rules above, as well as the following terms:
- You agree to having your voice recorded while in-game, or while in any Double Dash voice chat. These recordings may be published online on video platforms such as (but not limited to) YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or X (Twitter), in which case you can be credited if you would like.
- Any violation of the rules or any terms may result in limitations on how you can play Double Dash!! and interact with the community, including but not limited to: temporary/permanent mutes, or temporary/permanent bans from both the Discord server and Minecraft server.
You may request to use a minimap mod, however this request may be denied. ↩︎
